Slotz is a booking management platform for service businesses. We're based in India and serve businesses globally.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: name, email, password (hashed)
• Business data: business name, logo, services, availability settings
• Client data: names, emails, phone numbers of YOUR clients that you add or that book through your page
• Booking data: appointment details, payment records, notes
• Usage data: how you use the dashboard (pages visited, features used)
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card numbers

3. How we use your data

• To provide the booking platform service
• To send automated reminders to your clients (only if you enable this)
• To send you product updates and important notices (you can unsubscribe)
• To improve the product based on usage patterns
• We never sell your data to third parties. Ever.

4. Your clients' data

When your clients book through your Slotz page, their data (name, email, phone) is stored in your account. You are the data controller for your clients' information. We process it only to provide you the service.

5. Data storage and security

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256)
• We use PostgreSQL hosted on secure servers
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we cannot see your password
• We conduct regular security reviews

6. Third parties we use

• Stripe: payment processing
• Resend: email delivery
• Meta (WhatsApp): WhatsApp notifications (only if you connect your account)
• We do not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers

7. Data retention

• Your data is kept as long as your account is active
• If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days
• Some data may be retained longer if required by law (e.g. payment records)

8. Your rights

You can at any time:

• Export your data (CSV export in dashboard)
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Update or correct your information

9. Cookies

• Session cookie for keeping you logged in
• No advertising cookies
• No third-party tracking cookies

10. Changes to this policy

We'll notify you by email if we make significant changes. Continued use of Slotz means you accept the updated policy.
